saltwater fly fishing permit

el palometero invitational with tail fly fishing magazine and punta allen fly fishing clubWe’re rebuilding the school in Punta Allen following the recent hurricanes. The school building has been in steady decline over the 20 years since we have been driving by on our way to Ascension Bay.  We’re raising funds though our permit “tournament” the El Palometero to improve it. Not a novel idea, but an effective one to get people on the water and to raise funds for a real good cause.

Starting in 2022 in Punta Allen we plan to bring El Palometero to the places that host anglers and have a distinct need for betterment.

Our work will be documented by our photographers and videographers to share the progress and show where the funds are actually going, no BS here, we will show the progress with before and after photos and footage.

We are an established 501C and have 5 members on the board of directors to ensure funds are distributed appropriately and as we promise.

We also joined by fly fishing royalty like Chico Fernandez, Tim Borski, Enrico Puglisi and Alberto Copinni, the Italian sculptor who has created so many works of fine fish art and will create the grand prize trophy.

El Palometero: The patron saint and wrestling champion of the World representing and fighting for permit worldwide.
Sponsored by Tail Fly Fishing Magazine and several others to benefit the school of Punta Allen (it’s for the children!)
